Here are some photos of a dining room refresh we did over winter that incorporates a yummy yellow.
The previous walls were dark and the room just seemed drab and boring. I don’t have before pics of the room, but this was the color - Storm Cloud by Sherwin Williams. The color wasn’t terrible, but not great for whetting the appetite and it just did not fit the personality of the people in the home. ⛈

So…we went from Stormy to Sunshine-y with Benjamin Moore’s Country Comfort. And she is vibrant and soothing in that it makes everyone feel happy to be in the room! It feels like a sunroom 24/7 in the dining room. We also painted some of the accent antique furniture in Benjamin Moore’s Spirit in the Sky. ✨☀️✨💛
In terms of Feng Shui, because the room falls into the Earth - Love & Romance sector of the Bagua map, we chose to incorporate flowers and pinks in the artwork by Artfully Walls. 🌸 We love how the field makes the room feel bigger as well. It truly feels like you are in a flower garden. Yellow is also an earth color, so most appropriate for the space just off the kitchen.
